Customer Satisfaction Seal

Customer Satisfaction Seal

Complementing a Customer Satisfaction Survey, companies can be issued a EuPD Research Customer Satisfaction Seal, if an acceptable customer satisfaction value has been reached. The seal can be used as a marketing tool for communication. It is well-known in the market and builds trust, not only for existing customers but also for potential new customers.

How successful is the brand management of different module, inverter and storage manufacturers? Every year we conduct Europe-wide surveys and prepare an independent evaluation on the perception of many brands. The best brands are awarded the Top Brand PV Seal in different categories.

Many quality seals only focus on the technical aspects of solar products, while we, for the "Top Brand PV Seal" award, also investigate the image the brand has on the market. To assess this, we directly ask the experts:  installers in Germany, Italy, United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Furthermore this year we have reached out to installers in the promising markets USA and Australia and qualified Top Brands overseas.

What we evaluate

Based on years of research, EuPD has developed an evaluation model which emphasizes the aspects of successful brand management of solar companies. Ten individual evaluation factors draw a precise picture of the image. We have awarded the Top Brand PV Seal since 2010 to the following product and business areas: modules, inverters, storage technologies and wholesale. 

By brand management we understand how a brand develops systematically, how it differentiates itself from competitors and how appealing it is in the eyes of a specific target group. The brand should have an original, specific signature which makes it distinguishable and recognizable, and brings it to life: This includes a broad product and service portfolio that prevails over competition.

Top Battery Storage Germany 2016

The market for storage technologies in Germany is growing rapidly. Along with this growth a variety of manufacturers are entering the market with large product ranges. For the end customer, on the one hand this means extensive choices, but on the other hand requires qualified guidance for the objective comparison of this broad variety.

EuPD Research, in cooperation with the German CleanTech Institute (DCTI), has developed an award for electricity storage systems, which compares the offered storage solutions to guide the end customer. The exceptional storage systems were identified by comparing the systems in terms of cost, handling during installation and service.

Due to the positive response from the market, the award will be implemented in other European countries.

Top Battery Storage Austria 2016/17

On the basis of the existing market conditions in Austria and on the basis of the appraisal by the homeowners, EuPD Research expects a strong demand for the PV storage market in the Austrian residential segment. A large number of manufacturers with a wide product range are involved in the Austrian market to adress installers and homeowners. For the end customer, this on the one hand means comprehensive selection possibilities, but on the other hand also requires qualified orientation aids for the objective comparison.

EuPD Research and the DCTI have developed a methodology that compares all relevant storage solutions in three categories (lithium <5 kWh, lithium> 5 kWh and lead) and sets these performance data in relation to customer expectations in Austria.
