| On October 13-16, the Solar Power International conference and exposition took place in San Diego, California. More than 420 exhibitors in the field of photovoltaics, concentrating photovoltaics, solar thermal electric or solar hot water presented their newest products and services. Furthermore, the most recent events regarding the market, policy, finance and technology were discussed in more than 65 conference sessions.
In addition to the exhibition and the conference, the annual Solar Energy Week 08 took place for the fourth time. During the conference, the many side events included solar energy activities for families, engineers and policy makers. EuPD Research was also present at the trade show and the conference. Our head of Research Operations, Ms. Daniela Schreiber, was a speaker at the session “A Friction Free Solar Market: How to Get There and What it Offers“. The session was held on October 14.
