During the 24th PVSEC in Hamburg, Germany, leading solar energy market researcher and consulting company EuPD Research signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SEMI, the global industry association for equipment and materials for its global PV initiative PV Group. The MoU was signed by Markus A.W. Hoehner, CEO, EuPD Research and Dan Martin, Executive Vice President, SEMI PV Group.

By signing this memorandum, both parties unite in their support for the global PV industry. The agreement also lays the foundations for the exchange of market information and membership benefits.

The first joint project resulted in the EuPD Research study “Thin Film Industry Guidebook”, which provides a comprehensive overview and analysis of the global PV thin film industry. Based on primary research and a thorough and independent analysis, the report covers the entire thin film PV value chain and provides recommendations for improving companies’ strategies.

SEMI member companies will receive a 30 percent discount on this study.
